Took my 130lb Malamute, Zuma, for a hike today. After getting hot, we walked to the river. While he was excited to see water, he saw the edge and stopped short. The bank gave way and he fell in the Gunnison River with no ability to touch the bottom and 2-3 ft vertical soft grass banks. I couldn't reach the water with my fingertips from my belly without sliding in. After a few panicky attempts, he got a single foothold on the bank, raised his head and a I got a few fingers through his collar and managed to latch my rope leash appropriately on the D-ring. I rolled off the bank and hauled for all I was worth. Your provided collar was robust enough to have a 200lb man hauling on it with the weight of a wet 130lb dog on the other side up a 3ft bank. It shows no abuse or failure and I will continue to rely on it.
