We use this belt in both our vehicles and on both our dogs. Great at keeping them safe and in the back seat. They don't mind them at all. Note of caution- the carabiners do rust out over time (especially with salt water) but we found their lifespans totally reasonable. And, our guys either by accident or by learning figured out how to undo them by pressing the button on the seatbelt. Probably not an issue for smaller breeds. In one vehicle we solved by clipping to the child seat clips instead of the seatbelts. Only belt we use, make sure its on an appropriate harness.
